The Mighty Mule® 502 Dual Gate Opener (FM502) is a heavy-duty, commercial-grade unit, yet very easy to install. It has upgraded commercial features such as "soft start" and "soft stop" that will extend the life of your gate hardware and gate opener. Another feature is the extra large control box that is pre-wired for an optional second battery (We highly recommend a second battery for solar applications). All these advanced features are contained in a easy to install, "Do-it-Yourself" kit. The Mighty Mule® kit includes a helpful installation video and detailed manual so you can install it yourself!

Designed for gates that open into or away from the property. Note: push-to-open applications (away from the property) require 2 push-to-open brackets: 347IH located here. Use on solid (wood) gates is not recommended as solid-surface gates have high wind resistance. If the wind is strong enough, the opener will obstruct and stop. Transformer The gate capacity Chart shows approximately the cycles per day, you can expect from the Mighty Mule 200 Automatic Gate Opener when powered with a transformer (provided). Actual cycles may vary slightly depending upon the type and condition of the gate and installation. An operation cycle is one full opening and closing of the gate. "NR" indicates this size and weight combination is not recommended for this operator. NOTE: BALL BEARING HINGES SHOULD BE USED ON ALL GATES WEIGHING OVER 250LB.
