Our most popular dual gate opener, the Mighty Mule® 502 Dual Gate Opener (FM502) has NEW commercial features rarely found in a do-it-yourself gate opening kit. The Mighty Mule® 502 Dual Gate Opener (FM502) is a heavy duty, commercial grade unit that is very easy to install. It has upgraded commercial features such as "soft start "and "soft stop" that will extend the life of your gate hardware and gate opener. Another feature is the extra large control box that is pre-wired for an optional second battery. (We recommend a second battery for solar applications.) All these advanced features are contained in a easy to install, "Do it Yourself" kit. The Mighty Mule® kit includes a helpful installation video and detailed manual so you can install it yourself! Designed for gates that open into or (away from the property requires 2 push to open brackets 347IH located here) Use on solid (wood) gates is not recommended. Solid surface gates have a high resistance to the wind. If the wind is strong enough, the opener will obstruct and stop. For solid gates please see our GTO/PRO SW3000 or SW4000 series. Excellant customer service June 24, 2008 Reviewer: Hubert from Los Angeles, CA United States   Discount Gate Openers brings back customer service from the old days when customer satisfaction is the number 1 objective.  I bought the MightyMule 352 but because it was out of stock, DGO immediately upgraded me to a 502 without charge so I could get my order on time!  And later, I found I needed a pair of brackets for my push-to-open application, they shipped me the brackets immediately with no questions asked!  I am very happy with the ways they handled their business.  Buy from them and you won't be disappointed.   I will have a follow up review once I get the gate opener installed.  Cheers~~ Was this review helpful to you?
